The main active components with anti-inflammatory action in boswellia resin are boswellic acids (KVA and AQUA), which block the synthesis of leukotrienes - hormone-like substances, which are one of the main factors in the occurrence of inflammatory processes.

Both acids have a positive effect on joint function (reduction of joint stiffness); They are also suitable in cases of premature "wear" of the joints and spine, as well as in heavy load on the load-bearing joints (in heavy physical labor, athletes, overweight, etc.) and after injuries of the musculoskeletal system.
