Special engraved antique Tibetan singing bowl M1 for sound therapy

Special Tibetan mantra singing bowl made of high quality brass. The inner bottom has intricate and detailed hand carving of the mantra Om, while the outer body is engraved with the engrams of the Asthamandala (the enlightened mind).

The etching process involves light diluted dyes that are used to cut the metal surface to create a design on the metal. First, the ordinary singing bowls are cleaned. They are then painted and stained with a mixture of dyes and firewood ash. They are then kept in a special controlled environment and engraved. This is how the overall design takes shape and it takes a long time.

Comes complete with a Tibetan cloth cushion of any colour and a handmade rosewood hammer with leather.
