Humata (from the Latin humus - earth) is a kind of whitish oily clay, widely used as cosmetic and hygienic means.

Humata enter into the composition of many finished cosmetic masks for skin and hair, but is also sold separately (fine dust) for home cooking. It is usually mixed with water, yogurt, egg yolk, honey, fat or lemon juice. Masks with clay are particularly recommended for oily or withered skin, and oily hair, add shine and volume. Humata been tested for soothing undercut skin in infants. It is also used for making masks for hair - mixed with olive oil.

Humata is one of the best tools for internal treatment used since ancient times.
