What is Inulin?
Inulin is a polymer of fructose, and depending on the length of its polymer chain, different types are distinguished.

Useful properties:
Inulin passes through the stomach and small intestine without breaking its integrity. Passing through the digestive tract, inulin creates a gel that remains undigested and thus reaches the colon.
